• Knysna - travel by road to Knysna; ferry ride; tour of Knysna; return to George via lakes district

• Plettenberg Bay - travel by road to Knysna; ferry ride; tour of Plett; visit Knysna Elephant park; return to George via lakes district

• Mountain passes - travel by road to Oudtshoorn via Outeniqua Pass; short tour of Oudtshoorn; travel by road to Prince Albert via the Swart Berg Pass; return to Oudtshoorn via the Meiringspoort Pass and De Rust; return to George via the Montague Pass

• Oudtshoorn - travel by road to Oudtshoorn via the Outeniqua Pass; visit ostrich farm, Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch

• Mossel Bay - travel to Mossel Bay by steam train; visit Dias Museum; short tour of Mossel Bay; return to George via Great Bark and Glentana

• day tour of George - visit strawberry and dairy farms, visit cheese producer
