Wilderness – Visit Eden Adventures.Enjoy a leisurely walk through indigenous forest to the confluence of the Kaaimans & Silver Rivers. Abseil in the serene Kaaimans Gorge next to a magnificent waterfall.

Touw River canoeing - The most popular is to pack a picnic and some swimming gear, hire a canoe, and head to the Touw River Waterfall.

Knysna – Travel by road to Knysna.Take the Ferry ride to the Heads; Tour through Knysna ,Thesens Island and Leisure Island; Return to George via lakes district.

Plettenberg Bay – Travel by road to Plettenberg Bay; Do a Whale and Dolphin cruise; Tour through the exclusive Plett shops; Visit Knysna Elephant Park; Return to George via lakes district.

Mountain passes – Travel by road to Oudtshoorn via Outeniqua Pass; a short tour of Oudtshoorn; travel to Prince Albert via the Swart Berg Pass; return to Oudtshoorn via the Meiringspoort Pass and De Rust; return to George via the Montague Pass.

Oudtshoorn – travel by road to Oudtshoorn via the Outeniqua Pass; visit ostrich farm,Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch.

Mossel Bay – Travel to Mossel Bay,Visit Cape St Blaize lighthouse; visit Dias Museum; Short tour of Mossel Bay and a sailing trip around Seal Island; return to George via Great Brak and Glentana.

Day tour of George – Visit Redberry strawberry farm;Visit Botanical Gardens;Visit George museums

Geocaching

Explore the Garden route from our doorstep through Geocaching. Within 10km of Acorn Guest House, there are 85 geocaches to find out of 2300 in the Western Cape alone.
